Delta Air Lines officially unveiled its newest custom livery supporting Team USA. Unveiled at Airbus’ global headquarters in Toulouse, France, the ‘Team USA’ livery adorns a brand new Airbus A350-900 aircraft. This aircraft celebrates Delta’s partnership with the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee which will run through the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
This is the second Delta aircraft to feature the ‘Team USA’ colors as the Atlanta based carrier currently has an Airbus A330-900neo operating in a similar scheme released in conjunction with the 2022 Olympic games in Beijing.
Delta Chief Marketing Officer Alicia Tillman had thus to say about the new aircraft:
“Unveiling the Team USA aircraft for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 marks a major milestone for Delta’s support of Team USA as we look toward the start of competition in just a few months. This plane, designed by our in-house creative team, represents Delta’s commitment to Team USA and our partnership to elevate these athletes to reach their highest potential. As this plane flies around the world in the coming months and years, we hope it is seen as a symbol of hard work, dedication and the upward momentum to being the best that Team USA and Delta innately share.”

Celebrating Employees and the Team USA Partnership
To celebrate the unveiling, Delta’s Chairmans Club members, a group of the airlines 100 top employees from around the organization, are present in Toulouse for the occasion. These employees will be the first passengers to fly on the new aircraft as they operate the first flight to Atlanta on May 3rd.
The updated livery for 2024 was designed by Alessandra Rabellino and Delta’s internal design team. The 2022 livery has been updated to take the shape of the Eiffel Tower along the side as a nod to the Paris Olympics later this summer.
As the official airline of Team USA, Delta will manage all travel for U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes for this year’s games. With Paris being the largest hub of Delta partner Air France, it’s highly likely that you may find yourself heading to the games in similar style.
In addition to the 2024 games in Paris, Delta’s partnership with Team USA runs thorough the 2026 Winter Games in Milan and 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles.
