An email just landed in my inbox from American Airlines offering early access for gameday flights designed to get fans to and from their favorite college football games this fall. Between now and June 17th, these flights can can only be booked using AAdvantage miles.
American Airlines College Football Flights
Each season the big three US airlines schedule one-off flights between cities and towns across the country for college football games. Delta released their flights last month and now American has joined the party.
You’ll notice many of these routes overlap with what Delta is operating but American is taking a unique approach to these flights. One-off flights for major sporting events are typically expensive. They are providing the convenience of direct flights without connections and charge you for the convenience. Between now and June 17th, these flights can only be booked using AAdvantage miles.
