Air Canada has opened its fourth Air Canada Café, expanding its network of grab-and-go lounge spaces.
About the Air Canada Café in Vancouver
The new Air Canada Café officially opened on November 5, 2025 and is located in the domestic terminal between Gates C46 and C47. According to the airline, the design of the space is inspired by Vancouver’s natural beauty, cultural diversity, and deep connections to the land.
The 2,142 square foot lounge has space for roughly 50 customers and, honestly, has more seating than I would have expected from a grab-and-go concept.

The lounge features limited amenities, which isn’t surprising given the concept but it does have power outlets available at every seat. This includes USB-C outlets with the ability to charge laptop computers.
On the food and beverage front, passengers can expect to find grab-and-go food options like Japanese-inspired matcha and white chocolate overnight oats, Lee’s Donuts (a Vancouver favorite), house-made Vietnamese spring rolls, and a Korean crispy chicken burger.
For beverages, the Air Canada Café offers a wide selection of beverages ranging from water and soft drinks to local craft beer and seltzer from Vancouver’s Persephone Brewing, and Nitro cold brew available on tap.
Jacqueline Harkness, Managing Director f Product & Services at Air Canada, said this about the new lounge:
“This new space is all about offering guests a thoughtful blend of modern amenities and cozy vibes, while celebrating the beauty and spirit of Vancouver. We hope the Air Canada Café becomes a go-to place for our customers to unwind and recharge, making their time at YVR even more enjoyable.”
Air Canada Café Access Requirements
The Air Canada Café at Vancouver International Airport is available to Air Canada customers travelling on a Business Class ticket, Aeroplan 50K, 75K, or Aeroplan Super Elite Status Members, Star Alliance Gold customers, and Aeroplan premium co-brand cardholders.
Along with Vancouver, Air Canada Cafes are featured at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ) in collaboration with Aspire, and at Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL).
My Thoughts
While I still enjoy spending my layovers in a full service lounge, I love the fact that airlines are opening more grab-and-go spaces. On short layovers and when time is tight, I love the ability to pop in, grab a snack or a drink, and get to my gate.
These lounge concepts are gaining in popularity as we’ve seen United and American Airlines open up these spaces stateside. Credit card lounge operators like CapitalOne have also added grab-and-go stations in lounges and I hope we see this concept continue to expand in addition to the full service offerings.

Summary
Air Canada has just opened its fourth Air Canada Café grab-and-go lounge at Vancouver International Airport. The lounge is located in the domestic terminal and will be a great option for passengers looking to grab a quick bite.
