Weekly Recap: December 6, 2025

Greetings from Austin! We’re gearing up for the end of the year here at ATX Jetsetter after taking a much needed thanksgiving break. December will be a busy travel month with trips to New York, Louisiana, and Mexico on the books to close out 2025.

The first week of December gave us a good look at some loyalty changes for Delta and Hilton along with the monthly promo awards from Air France and KLM. All of that, and more, in the ATX Jetsetter weekly recap for the week ending December 6, 2025.

Korean Air has announced that it will install Starlink Wi-Fi across its fleets beginning in 2026. While the full rollout timeline isn’t yet known, all Korean Air planes are expected to be equipped with the service by the end of 2027. This is a major development as the carrier hasn’t historically offered onboard Wi-Fi.

Flying Blue Promo Rewards for December 2025

Flying Blue, the loyalty program for Air France and KLM, has released the promo rewards for December 2025. These rewards are for tickets booked this month for travel through May 31, 2026. Unfortunately, the influx of Business Class deals we saw last month is gone and we’re back to mostly Economy options.

Hilton is Planning a New Invitation Only Elite Status

Hilton is planning to add a new, invite only, tier to its Hilton Honors loyalty program. While very little is known at this point, and it will likely stay that way, you can expect that this status will only be held by an extremely small number of people. This will likely include Fortune 500 executives, friends of the company, and guests that spend an excessive amount of money with the chain each year.

Summary

It’s hard to believe that 2025 will be coming to an end in just a few short weeks. After a quiet Thanksgiving period, we’re ready to close out the year strong on the travel news and review front. As always, thank you for checking out the weekly recap for the week ended December 6, 2025!
