Alaska Airlines Unveils a New Livery for Long-Haul Flights
Alaska Airlines has revealed a new livery that will adorn all of its Boeing 787 Dreamliners. The new livery pays homage to the Northern Lights and comes as the carrier is shifting all Boeing 787 operations to its Seattle hub. The A330s will be upgraded and retain the Hawaiian Airlines branding for flights to and from Honolulu.

American Airlines Announces New Service to Prague, Budapest, and More
American Airlines has announced an expanded summer schedule which sees the carrier add two new destinations and four new routes. Two of those routes will help connect travelers from around the globe headed to the World Cup. In addition, the airline is expanding its premium offerings to Tokyo from its hubs in Dallas and Los Angeles.

airBaltic is Looking For Passengers From Its First Flight
As it prepares for its 30th anniversary, airBaltic is on the hunt for passengers from its first flight back in 1995. While it is unclear what exactly they are planning, I’m sure those passengers will be involved in the anniversary celebration in some way.

Flying Blue Promo Rewards: August 2025
Flying Blue, the loyalty program for Air France and KLM, has released its promo rewards for August 2025. These rewards are for tickets booked this month for travel through January 31, 2026. While there isn’t much of interest in premium cabins between the United States and Europe, there are some decent redemption opportunities this month.

Review: Emirates Boeing 777-300ER Business Class (DXB-DFW)
To wrap up our trip to Asia, we flew Emirates’ new Business Class from Dubai to Dallas. We had a great flight and I’m glad that I was finally able to experience the airline firsthand. The service from the crew was absolutely fantastic but I found the seat to be somewhat disappointing.
Given the fact that this is a brand new product on the airline’s Boeing 777s, I would have liked to have seen them add a privacy door, something that is becoming common in most long-haul Business Class cabins. Though I will absolutely fly with the carrier again.

Review: Delta Sky Club New Orleans (MSY)
The Delta Sky Club in New Orleans is one of the smallest lounges in the Delta system. While small, the staff are fantastic and the food and beverages are good. The biggest drawback of the lounge is the layout as it feels quite tight when full. However, I’m happy to see a Delta lounge in a city that I visit often.
