Marriott International announced today that it has partnered with Danube Riverside d.o.o. Beograd to bring The Ritz-Carlton brand to Serbia. The Ritz-Carlton Belgrade is expected to open in the country’s capital sometime in 2027.
The new property will be located along Nikola Tesla Boulevard, right on the Danube River and in close proximity to government institutions and the central business district. The location will also provide convenient access to Stark Arena, Sava Congress Centre and Belgrade’s old town.
The new build property will feature 193 guest rooms and suites and is planned to be a part of the site revitalisation of the former Hotel Jugoslavija. The property is expected to have two on-site restaurants as well as an indoor swimming pool, fitness center and spa, and more than 1,700 square meters of meeting and events space.

The Ritz-Carlton Belgrade will join four existing Marriott properties in Serbia: The St. Regis Belgrade, Sheraton Novi Sad, Courtyard by Marriott Belgrade City Center and Moxy Belgrade.
