Greetings from Dallas! The ATX crew is currently in the middle of a family and football Thanksgiving tour across Louisiana and Texas. After spending time with my family in Louisiana, we headed over to Texas to spend Turkey Day with Mrs. ATX’s crew. While my family typically keeps things low key, her side does an all-out 30+ person bash and it is one of my favorite events of the year.
2025 Has Left Us With Much to be Thankful For
2025 has been an amazing year for the ATX crew, highlighted by taking our then nine month old son on a journey across Asia to visit friends and family. With stops in Dubai, Kazakhstan, and Istanbul, we explored a lot and I managed to get my first taste of Turkish and Emirates Business Class.

In addition, Mrs. ATX and I took a trip, sans kids, with our Denver based travel friends to Japan for my birthday. While I love traveling with my son, the ability to enjoy a few days without 7:30p bedtimes, waking up in the middle of the night, and having to find a spot to change a diaper in the middle of a major city was a treat.
In addition to the major trips, I’m thankful for all of the opportunities to visit with family and friends closer to home. Whether that be the backyard petting zoo birthday party for ATX Jr. or spending weekends at the lake, these memories from 2025 will stick with me forever.

As we prepare to gather around the table for Thanksgiving feasts this year, I’d like to thank each and every one of you that has taken the time to read this blog, provide feedback, and comment your thoughts. ATX Jetsetter is a labor of love and I’m thankful that you all have decided to come along on the journey with me.
Summary
I hope your Thanksgiving holiday is filled with family, friends, and fun and I thank you all for reading this site over the past few years. Enjoy the food and fellowship and maybe watch a little football on TV. Happy Thanksgiving!
