Southwest announced via Twitter today that their popular Companion Pass perk has a new promotion.
In order to qualify for the Companion Pass offer, all you have to do is register on Southwest.com and book one round trip or two one-way flights by April 5th for travel by May 24th.
While there isn’t much time available to book and fly these flights, it is worth doing if you have upcoming travel on Southwest in the next month and a half. Also, with their easy cancellation process, you can always cancel and rebook an existing reservation after signing up for this promotion.
The Companion Pass window for this promotion is shorter than what we have seen in the past. Once you qualify, your companion will be able to fly free with you between August 15th and September 30th, 2023. Please note that this is not valid on flights purchased with Rapid Rewards points.
Those that successfully complete the promotion should receive an email from Southwest within 10 days and will include more information about using your Companion Pass.
During the promotional period, the Companion Pass holder can change their designated companion up to three times by calling the airline at 1-800-435-9792.
