Royal Jordanian Airlines, the flag carrier of Jordan, is reportedly adding three new destinations in the United States.
Royal Jordanian is a smaller carrier but has a substantial route map and, as a member of the OneWorld alliance, it has a partnership with American Airlines. Royal Jordanian currently serves three destinations in the United States (Chicago-O’Hare, Detroit, and New York-JFK) with service to Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) scheduled to begin in March 2025.
Thanks to IshrionA, it appears that Washington won’t be the only new destination for the carrier this year. A photo from a company presentation shows that the airline is planning to add flights to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) later in 2025. Miami and Los Angeles are expected to follow in 2026 and 2028.

So far IAD is confirmed for 2025. Royal Jordanian should be… pic.twitter.com/wgPdKxWenf
Since it’s earliest on the list, DFW is the route that is most likely to happen. I’m assuming, if the carrier plans to launch service between North Texas and Amman, we’ll hear something about the route in the coming months. Thanks to its codeshare agreement with American Airlines, which operates its largest hub at DFW, the flights should have plenty of feed.
DFW Airport has seen massive growth over the last few years and it seems like airlines are adding new international destinations monthly. The airport is currently building Terminal F, which will add 15 internationally configured gates.
The growth at DFW has been fueled by new carriers entering the market. Cathay Pacific has announced flights to Hong Kong and Fiji Airways has launched flights to Nadi in recent months. Both of those carriers are also affiliated with the OneWorld alliance. Outside of the alliance, EVA Air is launching flights between DFW and Taipei.
While I haven’t had the opportunity to fly with Royal Jordanian (or any of the aforementioned new entrants at DFW), I’m always excited to see new entrants in the market. While we haven’t seen an official announcement from the airline yet, I’m fairly confident that we’ll see something soon.
Summary
Royal Jordanian announced flights to Washington D.C. earlier this year and it appears that the airline has more in the works. The carrier is reportedly adding flights to Dallas/Ft. Worth in 2025 with Miami and Los Angeles in the works for 2026 and 2028.
