Six Flights, Five Airports, One Day. Mileage Running for British Airways Tier Points

Last month, I posted about an insane day of flying I booked with a college buddy of mine in an effort to collect as many British Airways Tier Points as possible in an effort to requalify for British Airways Executive Club (BAEC) Gold. Now, the time has finally come for this completely unhinged day of travel.

ATX Jetsetter will go dark tomorrow as we attempt to fly six flights in the span of one day, departing Austin at 5:00a and arriving back just after midnight. Because of all of the flying, I won’t have much, if any, time to post here but you can follow along in real time on Twitter/X and Instagram.

Our routing isn’t too crazy, mainly concentrating on short flights around the Southeast. I booked the fare for roughly $400 in First Class from Austin (AUS) to Nashville (BNA).

Six flights, five airports, one day.

While the main focus of the trip is for status requalification, I am going to try and squeeze in quite a few reviews. This is my first trip since ATX Jr. was born and the reviews have been lacking. If everything goes according to plan, and our gates hold, I’m going to try and review the following:

  • American Airlines Flagship Lounge Dallas/Ft. Worth (DFW)
  • American Airlines Admirals Club Dallas/Ft. Worth (DFW) Terminal B
  • American Airlines Airbus A321 First Class (DFW-CLT)
  • American Express Centurion Lounge Charlotte (CLT)
  • American Airlines Admirals Club Concourse C/D Charlotte (CLT)
  • American Airlines Admirals Club Nashville (BNA)
  • American Eagle Embraer E175 First Class (BNA-DCA)
  • American Airlines Airbus A319 First Class (DCA-CLT)
  • American Airlines Admirals Club Concourse B Charlotte (CLT)
  • American Airlines Boeing 737-800 First Class (CLT-AUS)

I’m going to attempt to knock out quite a few reviews during this British Airways Tier Point run.

Hopefully we don’t end up with a hotel review added to the list above. If you’re traveling to/through any of those airports tomorrow give me a shout, otherwise keep your fingers crossed that the weather stays clear and there aren’t any mechanical delays.

Summary

Tomorrow marks my first time up in the air since ATX Jr’s arrival. This quick, single day trip will go a long way towards helping me gain enough British Airways Tier Points to requalify for BAEC Gold this year. If I can get a few reviews in, even better.

Keep your fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly for us!
