JetBlue turns 25 this year and the New York based carrier has just announced a wild promotion to celebrate. While I’m not sure how much additional traffic this will generate, I’ve already had multiple people reach out to me about attempting it.
JetBlue’s 25 for 25 Birthday Promotion
JetBlue is celebrating its 25th birthday by offering TrueBlue members the chance to earn bonus points and possibly 25 years of Mosaic 1 status just by flying with the airline. The basic premise is this, the more unique destinations you fly to, the more points and status you can earn.
The carrier has split the promotion into three tiers, with awards being divided between 15, 20, and 25 destinations. For those looking to participate, here’s what you can earn:
- 15 JetBlue Destinations: Earn 150,000 bonus TrueBlue points
- 20 JetBlue Destinations: Earn an additional 200,000 bonus TrueBlue points
- 25 JetBlue Destinations: Earn 25 years of Mosaic 1, plus all the above bonus TrueBlue points
A TrueBlue member who visits 25 unique airports served by JetBlue can earn 350,000 TrueBlue points and a quarter century of Mosaic 1 status which is absolutely wild.

“With ‘25 for 25,’ we’re celebrating a milestone and inviting our most loyal customers to join the party in a big way. JetBlue’s award-winning TrueBlue loyalty program is all about making travel more meaningful and memorable, and this promotion is a thank-you to the customers who’ve helped us reach 25 years of incredible growth.”
The promotion is running between June 25 and December 31, 2025. Each destination (or airport in cities with multiple airports) will count once. Qualifying travel is on JetBlue operated flights only and excludes Blue Basic fares and codeshare flights. For full terms and conditions, click here.
My Thoughts
While this is a very cool promotion, it will likely be valuable to a select few flyers. JetBlue has made major changes to its route map in recent months as the carrier looks to return to profitability. With that, the carrier has pulled out of some routes, like Miami, entirely and shifted flying elsewhere.
If you live on the east coast and are a frequent JetBlue flyer, it may be worth it to fly a couple of additional legs in order to hit one of the tiers of this promotion. For me, being based in Austin, chasing something like this is out of the question as every trip would involve a connection in Boston.
I’m sure at least one influencer or travel blogger will attempt to hit 25 destinations as quickly as possible and I look forward to watching the journey, from my couch.
