It was a scary afternoon for passengers onboard JetBlue Flight 312 this afternoon as the aircraft skidded off of the runway after landing at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).

The flight had just arrived in Boston from Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) when the incident occurred shortly before 12:00p local time. The Airbus A220-300 aircraft, nicknamed “Blue Come Here Often?” (N3242J), landed on Runway 33L before rolling off of the side of the runway, coming to rest in the grass just past the entrance to Taxiway D.
According to reports on the ground, no injuries were reported from the incident and passengers were evacuated via air stairs. Weather and visibility both appeared to be good at the time of the incident.
Unsurprisingly, this incident is causing delays for flights into Boston. I’m writing this from the Delta Sky Club at New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA) where flights to Boston are delayed by 2+ hours.
At the time of publication, JetBlue has not released a statement regarding the incident.
