Earlier this year Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced that it was purchasing Me and All Hotels from Lindner Hotels. Now the company is expanding the footprint of the brand with its first hotel outside of Germany.

The new property will be located in neighboring Switzerland, nestled in the Grisons Alps. The Me and All Hotel Flims will become only the fifth Hyatt property in the country and is the Me and All hotel to open since it became a standalone brand within Hyatt’s portfolio.

The property is on the smaller side at only 73 keys. These will be split amongst 47 guestrooms and 26 apartments. The new hotel is located in the same area as one of Switzerland’s largest ski destinations, the Flims-Laax-Falera resort, with 136 miles of slopes and 205 miles of bike trails for off-season adventures.

Michel Morauw, Managing Director North EAME for Hyatt, had this to say about the upcoming property:

“This hotel represents a significant milestone as Me and All Hotels’ first venture beyond Germany, marking an important step in Hyatt’s ambitious expansion plans for the brand. True to the brand’s DNA, Me and All Hotel Flims will serve as a community hub in this vibrant mountain town.”

According to Hyatt, this opening sets the stage for the expansion of the conversion-friendly brand across Europe and beyond. While the brand is still small, with six properties currently operating in Germany, Me and All Hotels feature a lean operating model, dynamic public areas and flexible design, making them adept to both conversions and new builds in primary and secondary urban and resort locations.

The Me and All Hotel Flims will join six existing branded properties in Germany.

While information is scarce, including regarding the property’s opening date, we do know that the Me and All Hotel Flims will have dining options that offer a blend of Swiss, Mediterranean, Lebanese and Japanese cuisines with a focus on sustainability.

The property is expected to have multiple communal spaces including a sun deck and in-house cinema.  In addition, a nearly 10,000 square foot gym and spa will be located on-property along with dedicated meeting space. It will also have easy rail and road access from the city of Zurich and the Zurich Airport.

Summary

Hyatt has announced the first expansion of its recently acquired Me and All Hotels brand with the Me and All Hotel Flims. The new hotel will be the brand’s first outside of Germany and is located near the Flims-Laax-Falera ski resort. Hyatt has indicated that it expects to expand the brand rapidly across Europe in the coming years.
