Its no secret that Emirates has one of the best First Class products in the sky, especially the company’s new “gamechanger” First Class. The soft product and onboard offerings are also top notch and now, there’s a new development in what is being poured on board.

Emirates Adds Dom Perignon Rosé Vintage 2009 in First Class
Emirates has quite the inventory of high end wines and champagnes. The Dubai based carrier has invested more than $1 billion into its wine program over the last 15+ years and it has exclusive rights to serve a variety of high end champagnes, including Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015, Moët & Chandon Brut Imperial, Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label and more, onboard.
While Dom Pérignon is standard on all Emirates First Class flights, the airline has just added a new vintage onboard. First Class passengers can now enjoy Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2009 Champagne on all First Class routes from Dubai. Thanks to an exclusive partnership with Moët Hennessy, Emirates is the only carrier able to serve this vintage onboard.

According to Emirates, Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2009 has an expressive bouquet of rose petals, orange oil and saffron, followed by vivid notes of raspberry, cherry, cassis, and fig, and evolving toward deeper tones of licorice and gingerbread. The palate is smooth and enveloping, with ripe, fleshy fruit and a supple structure, finishing with a persistent sapidity and a memorable tactile imprint.
My Thoughts
While I’m a traditionalist when it comes to Champagne, Mrs. ATX is a big fan of Rosé Champagnes. We haven’t had the chance to experience Emirates First Class yet but, I’m looking for an opportunity to try it soon.
If it is even marginally better than the carrier’s Business Class, it’s bound to be an amazing experience and, while it wont be the Dom Perignon Rosé Vintage 2009, I look forward to seeing what is being poured onboard when we do have the chance to try out the product.
Summary
Emirates has added Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2009 Champagne to its First Class wine offerings for a limited time. The Dubai based carrier has invested greatly in its wine program over the last 15+ years and this is just the latest offering onboard.
