DoubleTree by Hilton is celebrating National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day by giving away some sweet treats, with no reservation required. DoubleTree hotels are known for their signature chocolate chip cookies available to guests at check-in and the chain is once again offering these treats to the masses.

DoubleTree is Giving Away Free Cookies Today
DoubleTree currently has roughly 400 properties across the United States and, If you want a fresh chocolate chip cookie today, all you have to do is stop by. While typically reserved for guests of the hotel, anyone can stop by the property to get a treat today. Shawn McAteer, Brand Leader for DoubleTree by Hilton, said this about the promotion:
“On National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day, we’re proud to extend that warmth beyond our hotel guests, offering a taste of the welcoming service that makes travelers feel genuinely cared for. Our chocolate chip cookie at check-in remains a timeless symbol of the simple gestures that the DoubleTree by Hilton stay experience is known for.”
DoubleTree first introduced the chocolate chip cookies in 1986 and over time it has become synonymous with the hotel brand. While I haven’t booked a room at a DoubleTree just for the cookie, it’s always a nice treat upon arrival.
In 2023 the chain introduced an allergy-free version of its signature chocolate chip cookie which is gluten-free, non-GMO, vegan, and free of the top nine allergens (wheat, tree nuts, peanuts, dairy, eggs, soy, fish, sesame, and shellfish). (I wouldn’t expect to find some of those in any cookies)
Additionally, the company plans to introduce a cookie martini at its new restaurant and bar concept, piebird, which will debut at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Nanuet in Nanuet, New York later this year.
