In what may be one of the coolest aviation related collaborations in recent memory, Delta Air Lines and Nike have teamed up on a custom Air Force 1 Low in celebration of the airline’s 100th anniversary.
Delta Partners with Nike on Custom Shoes
Delta Air Lines has partnered with Nike on a special collaboration, though you won’t see these shoes on store shelves anytime soon. The Atlanta based carrier has partnered with the sportswear giant to develop custom Nike Air Force 1 Low shoes celebrating the airline’s 100th anniversary.
While they look fantastic, the shoes are only available to Delta employees. Multiple sneaker websites picked up on the shoes soon after the link went live. Sole Retriever was one of the first sites to pick up on the launch and posted photos of the shoe to its X/Twitter page.
While the shoes may be exclusive to employees, Delta has released an apparel collection for fans that celebrates 100 years of the carrier’s existence. If you are eligible to purchase the shoes, they’ll set you back $150, plus tax.

Delta has been going all out with its 100 year celebrations. It kicked things off with a massive keynote speech from CEO Ed Bastian at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas and has continued with special livery unveilings, apparel, and now, this Nike collaboration.
While I think it’s fantastic that Delta is doing something special for employees with this collaboration, I really want to get my hands on a pair. Over the years Mrs. ATX has turned me into a sneaker guy and these are the most AvGeeky shoes I’ve ever seen.
Summary
Delta Air Lines and Nike have collaborated on a special Air Force 1 Low shoe that is being made available exclusively to Delta employees. The shoes are celebrating 100 years of the Atlanta based carrier and are one of the coolest airline collaborations I’ve seen in quite a while.
