Delta Unveils New Missoni Amenity Kits

Delta has a new partnership with Italian luxury fashion house Missoni to design the amenity kits for passengers flying in Delta One. In addition to amenity kits, Delta and Missoni are working together to weave the details throughout the Delta One travel experience.

Delta has partnered with Italian brand Missoni for their new Delta One amenity kits.

Delta’s Vice President of Brand Experience Design, Mauricio Parise, also noted that brand elements from the partnership will be present in the new Delta One Lounge at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) when it opens on June 26th.

“We’ve been intentional about creating a Delta One experience—both on the ground and in the air—that feels truly premium and elevated, and Missoni’s elegance and prestige aligns perfectly with that vision. The Missoni-designed amenity kits, along with unique design elements that will be featured in our Delta One Lounge at JFK, will offer a distinct, high-end enhancement to our most premium spaces.”

The new kits feature Missoni’s signature textured zigzag pattern on the exterior and interior of the bag and have been designed to “celebrate the view from the window at 30,000 feet while paying homage to Delta’s nearly 100-year flying heritage.” Ok, sure I guess.

Inside, the kits will have Grown Alchemist skin care products, a bamboo toothbrush, toothpaste, an eye mask, ear plugs, socks and a pen.

Missoni branded kits will be available on flights to and from Italy and Paris beginning in mid-July, just in time for the Olympics. The kits will roll out for Delta One flights systemwide beginning in September.

Alberto Caliri, the Creative Director at Missoni, had this to say about the new partnership:

“The Missoni amenity kits have been meticulously designed, embodying a timeless declaration of elegance and a profound connection with the surrounding world. Additionally, customizing the Delta One Lounge at JFK signifies an important new frontier for our lifestyle approach. We are delighted to partner with Delta on the Delta One experience.”

I’ve never been one to care much about the design of an amenity kit as I’m more concerned with what is inside. Delta seems to have kept the amenities inside the kit the same, while partnering with Missoni to redesign the outside.

Summary

Delta is rolling out a new amenity kit for travelers flying in Delta One. The kit, designed in partnership with Missoni, will be available on flights later this summer. Delta One flyers can also find brand elements from the Italian fashion house in the new Delta One Lounge at New York-JFK.
