Delta Air Lines announced a long list of Cyber Monday travel deals today. While travel Cyber Monday deals typically aren’t much better than what you’ll find on any other day, the airline has released exclusive deals on flights to 65 destinations worldwide. Flights are currently bookable for travel beginning as early as January 7th, 2025.
The flights are available for booking between December 2nd and December 4th via Delta’s Cyber Monday page. I took a look at some of the options out of my home airport of Austin and, while there are plenty of routes, the dates are very limited. I didn’t see anything that jumped out at me as a “must buy” as the options are all Basic Economy or Economy tickets but, if you’re already planning a trip, it may be worth taking a look.
In addition to flights, Delta is offering additional deals and ways to earn bonus SkyMiles as part of its Cyber Monday sale. These include:
- Delta Gift Cards: Earn up to 5x miles on purchases of $400 or more.
- Delta Cars: Earn 4x miles per dollar spent on bookings through February 2025.
- Delta Stays: Earn 4x miles per dollar spent on hotel bookings through February 2025.
- Delta Vacations: Receive 10% more miles for travel through June 2025.
- Delta Cruises: Earn 4x miles on cruise bookings through December 2025.
- SkyMiles Shopping: Collect bonus miles at over 1,000 participating retailers.
I personally wouldn’t use any of the services above, except maybe purchasing some gift cards, as you can typically find better deals elsewhere. However, if you are someone who uses the Delta travel services, you’ll get a nice Christmas points bonus.
Summary
Delta has announced its Cyber Monday Sale for 2024 and while there isn’t anything groundbreaking hidden inside, you may find a flight on sale that fits your schedule. It’s worth noting that all of the deals I saw were in Basic Economy or Economy but I didn’t look through all 65+ destinations. The airline is also giving out bonus SkyMiles via its travel booking programs for purchases during the holidays.
