Allegiant Air has just announced seven new nonstop routes connecting 12 different cities, including the carrier’s first flights to Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers, Florida. The carrier also has a base at nearby Punta Gorda Airport (PGD).

Allegiant Launches Seven New Routes
The ultra-low-cost carrier (ULCC) has long had a focus on operating nonstop service on unserved or underserved routes. Therefore these new additions come as no surprise as there is very little competition in the markets. Drew Wells, Allegiant’s Chief Commercial Officer, said this about the new routes and destination:
“This expansion reflects our commitment to connecting underserved communities with affordable, convenient travel options. By adding Fort Myers and increasing service to multiple beach cities, we’re providing travelers nonstop access to sunny destinations, meaning they spend less time at the airport and more time on vacation.”
All of the new routes are scheduled to begin operating in November with less than daily service. From Fort Myers (RSW), Allegiant is adding flights to:
- Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) in Allentown, PA
- Appleton International Airport (ATW)
- Des Moines International Airport (DSM)
In addition to the three new routes from Fort Myers, Allegiant is adding the following routes to its network:
- Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) – Toledo Express Airport (TOL)
- Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) – Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA)
- Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) – Punta Gorda Airport (PGD)
- Nashville International Airport (BNA) – Gulf Shores International Airport (GUF)

Allegiant is offering special, introductory, fares on the new routes as low as $49. To take advantage of the fares, flights must be purchased by July 30, 2025 for travel by February 10, 2026. Tickets for all new routes are now available and can be purchased via AllegiantAir.com.

Allegiant Air continues to modify its route network, launching seven new routes later this fall. The ULCC is also launching service from Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers, complimenting its existing operations at Punta Gorda Airport (PGD).
