AeroMexico Unveils New Logo Celebrating 90th Anniversary

AeroMexico, the flag carrier of Mexico, has unveiled a new logo celebrating the airline’s 90th anniversary. While some rumors and photos have been making the rounds on the internet, the airline officially unveiled the new logo via a post on Twitter/X earlier today.

The first aircraft to sport the updated branding is XA-IAC, a almost 16 year old Embraer E190 operated by AeroMexico Connect.

While we haven’t seen a complete shot of the aircraft, branding updates appear to include a slightly revised version of the Eagle Knight emblem on the tail, a new purple/pink graphic on the fuselage, and it appears that the red stripe on the forward portion of the fuselage has been removed as well.

The updated branding is already visible on the carrier’s website and will likely be rolling out on other aircraft and in the airport soon.

While it’s not a major update, I like the look of the new branding and I’m looking forward to seeing the complete aircraft soon.

UPDATE: With the plane having entered revenue service, we’re getting a first look at the overall aircraft design. The new branding extends to the engines and a new font replaces the old AeroMexico titles.
