Emirates announced today that the airline is “stepping onto the court” as the official airline partner of The Championships, Wimbledon. The Championships are taking place between July 1st and 14th at The All England Lawn Tennis Club. In celebration of the partnership, Emirates has placed a special decal on one of its Airbus A380s that will be flown to London on July 1st.
The special decal will remain on the plane for the duration of The Championships with scheduled services to London Heathrow, Manchester, Washington D.C., Paris, New York (JFK), Casablanca, Zurich, Brisbane, Barcelona and Perth.

Specialized Wimbledon Service Onboard UK Flights
As part of the partnership, Emirates has promised to bring a taste of Wimbledon to passengers onboard. For all flights to and from the United Kingdom during July, Emirates is celebrating with the following:
- Economy and Premium Economy Class passengers will enjoy cream cheese mousse, strawberry compote, hazelnut streusel, and strawberry cheesecake.
- First and Business Class passengers are in for a treat with strawberries and cream on offer, delicious pastries, and lemon strawberry cupcakes featuring a Championships logo dessert topper.
- First and Business Class passengers can also get into the Wimbledon spirit with bespoke Pimms cocktails served in the A380s Onboard Lounge.
- First Class passengers travelling from Dubai to the UK will also be gifted Emirates branded Wimbledon 2024 towels, produced by Christy, the Official Towel Supplier of The Championships.
Emirates Experience at Wimbledon
Fans attending The Championships, Wimbledon will get a taste of Emirates as the airline brings its award-winning hospitality to the event. The airline will have its signature “Emirates Experience” stand at the All England Club’s Grounds. Fans can look forward to interactive experiences and exclusive giveaways including a chance to win a memorable holiday to Dubai with Emirates Holidays.
For younger fans, the Roblox ‘Wimbleworld’ will features Emirates branded tennis courts and obstacle courses.
Summary
Emirates is going big to celebrate its first year as the official airline partner of The Championships, Wimbledon. With brand activations on the ground and in the air guests of the event and Emirates passengers will definitely be able to spot the partnership.
While I haven’t personally flown Emirates or been to any of their sponsored events, I always see these partnerships on display via social media and I’m sure this will be no different. I mean, look at that dessert spread onboard.
