Laissez les bons temps rouler! Alaska Airlines is launching seasonal flights between Portland International Airport (PDX) and New Orleans Louis Armstrong International Airport (MSY). The service will launch in January 2025 and run through the spring, including Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday is March 4th, 2025).
The New Orleans route marks Alaska’s 55th nonstop destination from Portland. The flight is well timed for travelers, departing Portland in the morning and arriving in New Orleans that afternoon before returning to Portland in the evening. The daily service will operate daily between January 6th and May 14th on the following schedule:

New Orleans (MSY) – Portland (PDX)
AS 1267 Depart: 4:35p Arrive: 7:50p

The flight will also help get travelers to New Orleans as the city gets set to host Super Bowl 59 at the Caesars Superdome on February 9th. Tickets go on sale June 19th at AlaskaAir.com. The airline has been adding a slew of new routes from Portland and other hubs, including an ambitious route between Anchorage and New York.
