Delta is elevating the premium travel experience once again. The Atlanta based carrier has expanded Delta One Check-In to all of its hubs that offer Delta One service
All Delta Hubs Have Delta One Check-In
With the exception of New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA), which primarily serves the northeast and has no long haul international service, all Delta hubs now feature Delta One Check-In.

You’ll find dedicated Delta One Check-In areas at Atlanta (ATL), Boston (BOS), Detroit (DTW), Los Angeles (LAX), Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP), New York-JFK (JFK), Salt Lake City (SLC) and Seattle (SEA).
While each check-in area is different, JFK and LAX offer a private Delta One security lane that leads directly to the lounge, all of the check-in areas feature personalized assistance from agents, expedited check-in and bag drop, seating areas, and a selection of snacks and drinks.
Greg Forbes, Managing Director of Airport Experience at Delta, said this about the opening of Delta One Check-In at all hubs:
“Delta One Check-In sets the tone for each one of our Delta One customers to begin experiencing their elevated journey from the moment they arrive at the airport. It builds on the efficiency and consistency with a welcoming, calm environment that reflects Delta’s signature care and hospitality.”

In addition to Delta One Check-In being open at all hubs with Delta One service, Delta One Lounges are open in Boston, Los Angeles, New York-JFK, and Seattle. Additional Delta One Lounges are planned for all Delta hubs.
Where to Find Delta One Check-In
As I mentioned above, with the exception of LaGuardia, you’ll find dedicated Delta One Check-In areas at all of the airline’s hubs. Specifically, Delta One Check-In can be found at:
- Atlanta (ATL): International Terminal, inside Door 2
- Boston (BOS): Terminal E, level 2 departures, inside Door E205
- Detroit (DTW): McNamara Terminal, departures level, enter Door 4; Delta One sliding doors left of TSA and CLEAR
- Los Angeles (LAX): Terminal 3, lower arrivals level near pillars 3F and 3G
- Minneapolis St. Paul (MSP): Across road from terminal entrance, accessible via “Flex Lane” for departures, Door 8
- New York (JFK): Terminal 4, departures level, Door B, steps from curb
- Salt Lake City (SLC): Main Terminal, level 1 / arrivals, enter Door L2; adjacent to TSA screening
- Seattle (SEA): Main Terminal, ground floor near departures drop‑off, Door 13

In order to utilize Delta One Check-In you must be departing on a same-day Delta One ticket or hold a same day business class ticket on select Delta partners (like Air France, KLM, LATAM, and Virgin Atlantic). Delta 360 Members also have access to Delta One Check-In regardless of their flight, as long as it is operated by Delta or a partner.
My Thoughts
Having experienced Delta One Check-In firsthand at New York-JFK, this is an exciting development for Delta One and partner premium passengers. If there are no issues with your reservation check-in is quick and easy or, as was our case, representatives are standing by to assist passengers.
If you’re wondering who would need seating and snacks at a check in counter, look no further than the ATX crew. On our trip to Dubai earlier this year, we had an issue with our boarding passes and had to get some assistance from the Delta One Check-In staff. With a direct line to partner KLM, they were able to get us on our way after a short wait, though we still had to get our onward boarding passes in Amsterdam.

The issue involved our lap-infant son’s ticket so mom and I were more than a little nervous. The service, seating, snacks, and drinks were a nice touch that made what could have been a stressful situation a little more relaxing. Who knows, maybe one day we’ll get Delta One Check-In in Austin.
Summary
Delta has opened dedicated Delta One Check-In areas at all of its hubs which have Delta One service (New York LaGuardia does not offer any long-haul flights). This is a great upgrade for premium passengers, allowing allowing their Delta One experience to begin as soon as they arrive at the airport.
