Greetings from Austin! The ATX crew just returned from a great weekend in Baton Rouge where we saw the Tigers pull out an ugly win over the Arkansas Razorbacks. Because of that, this week’s recap is coming to you a day later than usual.
While this update may be late, there was still plenty of travel related news to keep us busy this week. Check out the ATX Jetsetter weekly recap for the week ended November 16, 2025 below.
Marriott and Sonder End Partnership
Earlier this week, Marriott International terminated its agreement with Sonder due to the latter’s financial position. The decision appears to have been made rather abruptly, Sonder hadn’t been in the best financial position, so it’ll be interesting to see if we get any more information on the split. For those that booked stays at Sonder properties through Marriott affiliated channels, the company has reached out to the affected guests.

Review: Air India Maharajah Lounge New York (JFK)
The Air India Maharajah Lounge in Terminal 4 at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) leaves plenty to be desired. If it is your only lounge option it beats being stuck in the terminal. However, if you have other lounges available to you, I’d recommend using those instead.

Summary
This week wasn’t as busy and chaotic as last week but there was still plenty of movement on the travel front. As always, thank you for checking out the weekly recap for the week ended November 16, 2025!
