Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced today that World of Hyatt members can now earn and redeem points at Bunkhouse Hotels. For those of you that aren’t familiar with the brand, Bunkhouse Hotels is known for its unique portfolio of properties in Texas and Mexico.
Each hotel is unique but the brand has its own atmosphere which is brought to life by live music, poolside bar-b-ques, retail offerings that spotlight local makers and artisans, and more.
World of Hyatt Members Can Now Earn and Redeem Points at Bunkhouse Hotels
Bunkhouse Hotels is part of Hyatt’s Lifestyle collection alongside brands like Andaz, Thompson, The Standard, and me and all hotels. This is a category the company has been growing in recent years, with Hyatt purchasing Standard International, the parent company of The Standard and Bunkhouse Hotels brands, last year.

Bunkhouse Hotels will be joining World of Hyatt in phases. As of now, the following properties are available for members to earn and redeem:
- Houston, Texas: Hotel Saint Augustine (Category 6)
- Austin, Texas: Hotel Saint Cecilia (Category 7); Hotel San José (Category 5); Austin Motel (Category 5); Carpenter Hotel (Category 5)
- Todos Santos, Mexico: Hotel San Cristobal (Category 7)
- Mexico City, Mexico: Hotel San Fernando (Category 4)

Hotel Magdalena in Austin, Hotel Havana in San Antonio, and the upcoming Hotel Daphne in Houston will join World of Hyatt at a later date.

Summary
As of August 11, 2025, Bunkhouse Hotels have officially joined World of Hyatt. Most of the company’s properties are already bookable via Hyatt.com with more coming online later this year. The addition of Bunkhouse Hotels is the latest expansion effort by Hyatt in the Lifestyle category.
I haven’t yet stayed at a Bunkhouse Hotels property but, with multiple locations in Austin, I may have to go and check them out firsthand.
