It appears that Dallas-Ft. Worth International Airport (DFW) is getting a Chase Sapphire Lounge. An eagle eyed Redditor first spotted the building permit and the story first posted by Gary from View from the Wing. While information is scarce at this point, here’s what we know.

A Chase Sapphire Lounge is Coming to DFW Terminal D
A Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club is coming to Terminal D at Dallas-Ft. Worth International Airport. The new space will be located near Gate D35 and span roughly 18,000 square feet. According to the building permit, two new elevators are being installed in the space, meaning the lounge will be located one level above the concourse.
This is fairly standard in Terminal D as the American Express Centurion Lounge, American Airlines Admirals Club and Flagship Lounge, and Capital One lounge are all located above the concourse.
It appears that work has been ongoing in the space for quite some time as the permit was issued a year ago. Some DFW based readers have indicated that they expect the lounge will take the space of the former, temporary, American Airlines Premium Lounge.
Based on the expiration date listed, I expect the lounge to open sometime in early 2026 though Chase, and its operating partner The Club, haven’t provided an official statement.
Once the space is complete, DFW will be the only airport with lounges from all three major credit card companies. While I don’t have a Chase Sapphire Reserve card, instead choosing to pair my AmEx Platinum with a Chase Sapphire Preferred card, this may be enough to make me upgrade.

We fly through DFW quite a bit and, with how packed the Centurion Lounge can get, this could be a great alternative. My in-laws are DFW based and are Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders so maybe I’ll find my way into the lounge once it opens.
Summary
A Chase Sapphire lounge is coming to DFW Airport. The new lounge will be located in Terminal D and span more than 18,000 square feet. An official announcement from Chase hasn’t been made but, construction is underway and the lounge is expected to open by early 2026.
Might want to check this statement: “Once the space is complete, DFW will be the only airport with lounges from all three major credit card companies.”
LGA Terminal B has an Amex and Chase lounge and construction appears to be in progress for a Cap 1 lounge.
LGA is getting a CapitalOne Landing, not a full blown lounge. The only airport I know of that is up against DFW in the race to get all 3 is LAS. They currently have Centurion and CapOne Lounges with a Chase lounge on the way, but no timeline on when that will open.
