Shenzhen Sees Daily Service

Emirates is launching daily, nonstop flights between Dubai and Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport (SZX) beginning on July 1, 2025. This will be the fourth destination for the airline in mainland China after Beijing (PEK), Guangzhou (CAN), and Shanghai (PVG).

When the flights launch, Shenzhen will be the first destination in China to see the airline’s new, retrofitted, four-cabin Boeing 777-300ERs. These aircraft feature 8 First Class suites, 40 Business Class seats, 24 Premium Economy seats, and 260 Economy seats. Flights will operate on the following schedule:

According to the airline, these flights have been timed to optimize connections to and from key points across Africa and the Middle East, European business and financial centers, and from the airline’s key gateways in the United States and South America.

Shenzhen will become Emirates’ fourth destination in mainland China.

When flights launch Emirates will become the first Middle Eastern carrier to operate daily service to the Chinese city. This is mostly due to the fact that Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) is only 24 miles away. Emirates serves HKG 2x daily using a mix of Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft.

Emirates Broadens its Footprint in Vietnam and Cambodia

In addition to the new, direct, service to Shenzhen, Emirates is adding two new destinations in Vietnam and Cambodia via Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) in Thailand.

Flights to Da Nang International Airport (DAD) in Vietnam will operate 4x weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Flights to Siem Reap–Angkor International Airport (SAI) in Cambodia will operate 3x weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Flights to Da Nang will begin on June 2 while Siem Reap will follow on June 3, 2025.
