A few months ago Etihad Airways announced it was launching 4x weekly flights between Abu Dhabi (AUH) and Atlanta (ATL) in July 2025. There’s now a new development on this service due to increased demand.

Earlier this week, the Abu Dhabi based carrier announced that, due to increased demand, the flight will move from 4x weekly to daily service beginning November 1, 2025. Between July 2 and October 31, 2025, the flight will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. All flights are currently expected to operate on the following schedule:
Abu Dhabi (AUH) to Atlanta (ATL)
EY13 Departs: 9:30a Arrives: 4:30p
Atlanta (ATL) to Abu Dhabi (AUH)
EY14 Departs: 10:00p Arrives: 7:30p (+1)
The route will be operated by Etihad’s newest aircraft type, the Airbus A350-1000. Etihad’s A350-1000s are outfitted with 44 Business Class and 327 Economy seats.
Jurriaan Stelder, Senior Vice President Network and Alliances at Etihad Airways, said this about the expanded service:
“Since announcing our flights to Atlanta in November, we’ve seen great interest from guests, and that’s why we have decided to step up to daily flights on this already very popular route.”
One of the unique things about this flight is the fact that Abu Dhabi is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Preclearance facility. This allows passengers on the Abu Dhabi to Atlanta flight to clear customs in Abu Dhabi and arrive in Atlanta as domestic passengers. Having flown internationally into Atlanta before, this will be a much better experience for passengers.
While I haven’t flown on Etihad’s A350-1000, I have flown on the carriers Boeing 787-9 and 787-10, both of which were very pleasant. The A350 is one of my favorite planes and hopefully I’ll have the chance to try Etihad’s version on this route at some point.

Flights are currently on sale via the Etihad website.
Summary
Due to an increase in demand, Etihad Airways has announced an increase in service between Abu Dhabi and Atlanta months before the route is scheduled to launch. While it will initially operate 4x weekly, the airline will move to daily service as of November 1, 2025.
