BermudAir is Expanding its Network to Three New Destinations

BermudAir, the flag carrier of Bermuda, is expanding its route map by adding three new destinations.

BermudAir is expanding its route network with three new destinations.

The carrier recently expanded its fleet and now we know where it plans to deploy the excess capacity. The airline plans to launch flights from its hub at L.F. Wade International Airport (BDA) to the following destinations:

  • Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL)
  • Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport (PVD) in Providence
  • Richmond International Airport (RIC)

While it’s exciting to see BermudAir grow, it’s likely much more exciting for the airports in Providence and Richmond. While both airlines are classified as international airports, the introduction of service by BermudAir will be the only international routes from each.

The new routes were first reported by aviation route guru IshrionA. An official announcement regarding schedule and frequencies has not been made by the airline.

The new routes will bring the carriers total of destinations served up to 13, so this is quite a large expansion by BermudAir standards.

BermudAir’s current route map has flights to ten destinations.

While I don’t see a scenario that will have me flying to Bermuda anytime soon, I would be interested in trying out this quirky little carrier if given the chance.

Summary

BermudAir is moving quickly to put its new aircraft to use, adding three new destinations to its route map. For Providence and Richmond, the flights to Bermuda are notable as it is the only international service for both of those airports.
