Breeze Airways is Launching a Slew of New Routes and Destinations

Breeze Airways, the latest airline from serial airline entrepreneur David Neeleman, is launching a slew of new routes and some new destinations. Things have been fairly quiet for the airline on the expansion front recently, so it is nice to see them adding new service.

Breeze Airways is launching a slew of new routes, and adding three new destinations.

According to aviation route guru IshrionA, the airline is planning to launch thirteen new routes. Three new airports are being added to the carrier’s route map:

  • Albany International Airport (ALB)
  • Memphis International Airport (MEM)
  • Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC)

Breeze will reportedly add service on the following routes in this most recent expansion:

  • Albany (ALB) to Charleston (CHS)
  • Albany (ALB) to Raleigh-Durham (RDU)
  • Burlington (BTV) to Charleston (CHS)
  • Columbus (CMH) to Portland, Maine (PWM)
  • Greenville-Spartanburg (GSP) to Fort Myers (RSW)
  • Greenville-Spartanburg (GSP) to Pittsburgh (PIT)
  • Greenville-Spartanburg (GSP) to Westchester (HPN)
  • Raleigh-Durham (RDU) to Orlando (MCO)
  • Raleigh-Durham (RDU) to Pensacola (PNS)
  • Rochester (ROC) to Charleston (CHS)
  • Rochester (ROC) to Raleigh-Durham (RDU)

Breeze Airways is expanding further with thirteen new routes.

Though they aren’t the new destinations, Raleigh-Durham, Charleston, and Greenville-Spartanburg are the big winners in this round of expansion. Unfortunately for me, Breeze continues to show no interest in the State of Texas, so I still haven’t had a chance to fly them.

Multiple airports teased these announcements on social media leading up to today and, while official announcements haven’t gone out yet, flights have been loaded onto the Breeze website.

Summary

Breeze Airways is preparing to launch thirteen new routes, its first major route expansion in over six months. With the announcement, the carrier will also add service to three new airports. More details regarding timing and frequency of the flights have been released on the Breeze website, though we’re still waiting on a formal announcement.

  1. Schedules are now posted on Breeze Airways’ site. It looks like ALB to RSW is also a new route bringing the total to 14.

    1. They must have gone live at midnight ET, thanks! It also looks like ALB-RSW is a “Breeze-Thru” flight which is a one-stop, no change of plane service. I don’t see anything showing a direct online.

I booked a flight for the first time specifically due to the fact that the aircraft offers seatback in-flight entertainment (IFE).
