Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, had this to say about the relaunch of service to Malta:
“Qatar Airways is delighted to announce the resumption of our flights to Malta, which marks a vibrant addition to our robust European network. Qatar and Malta enjoy staunch economic ties, and our operational relaunch to the country only furthers our relationship.”
Flights for the route are currently on sale via the Qatar Airways website for travel to Malta International Airport (MLA), which is a short drive from the capital city of Valletta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Travelers to and from Malta have connecting opportunities on Qatar Airways to more than 170 destinations around the globe and, while it’s been a few years, one of my favorite flights to date was on a Qatar Airways A350-1000 with QSuites.
